Boat Games

Trip to Santa Cruz Island. Met up with S/V Charlotte and S/V Nessie at Prisoners Harbor. We managed a coordinated exit and was able to get some shots of us all sailing out.

Trip back was light, was expecting a bit of a breeze. It never came in. Ended up flying the chute most the way in. Slowly I will learn how to launch and trim that damn thing. Everything worked out in the end. Got it down as the wind picked up over 10 knots about a mile out from the harbor. My comfort factor for flying that giant bastard stops at about 10 knots. With the chute down, sailed in with working sails, dodged the kayakers, paddleboats, and assorted riff-raff. Got back into the slip after dropping the main put the boat away.

The cats are quite pleased that the boat has stopped moving.
